The Wrangler is available in both 2 and 4-door models. 2-door versions come in Sport, Willys Sport, Sport S, Willys, and Rubicon spec, while the 4-doors add Sport Altitude, Sahara and Altitude, Sport RHD, High Tide, High Altitude trim levels between Sport and Rubicon 392.

The base model Wrangler comes standard with the popular FCA Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine making 285 horsepower and 260 lb-feet of torque mated to either a manual 6-speed transmission or 8-speed automatic. Jeep's Command Trac Four-wheel drive system is standard across the lineup. Electronic trailer-sway control is standard, and the optional Trailer-Tow and Heavy-Duty Electrical package brings a Class II hitch receiver, a 240-amp alternator, a 700-amp battery and auxiliary switches, and a 7-and-4 Pin Wiring Harness. Maximum tow rating is 2000 pounds for the 2-door and 3500 for the 4-door.
